Ice skating at Tekapo

                                             Ice Skating at Tekapo
On Monday, 12th of September 2016, the whole Duntroon School were going ice-skating in Tekapo. I was amazed to see how big the bus was. There were like 20-25 lines of seats and even a cargo to put your bags in!!! The bus ride though was a little annoying but there were some cool sights. The sights were Mt Cook and lakes Pukaki, Benmore, (which you couldn't really see) Aviemore and Waitaki. When we arrived at Tekapo, we had to get our ice skates on. The ice was melting because it was early spring. Skating at first was hard but when you get the hang of it, it's easier. We all had partners. My partner was Hayden. I fell over heaps and it really hurts. Some of the people including me got sore ankles. I didn't ice-skate the whole time because my ankle got too sore. When it was time to go. On the bus, Lake Pukaki looked like it had a ring around it. Overall, the ice-skating was amazing.Image result for tekapo ice skating rink
